Wellness Sessions
The most dangerous enemies for our mind, body and spirits are own Five Poisons. If we do not free ourselves from these poisons, our mind, body and spirit will always be fighting obstacles that create problems with our self, health, family, work and financial relationships.
Deborah’s wellness sessions introduce her students to The Five Life Poisons of our daily life.
These Five Poisons, Ignorance, Anger, Attachment, Ego and Jealousy, are a central cause of suffering in our daily lives. They are our negative emotional reactions to a particular situation. We may react to a situation with aversion, attachment, envy, pride, or other negative emotions, directing these negative emotions at the people we believe are responsible for the problem. The arising of the Five Poisons is always harmful to us.
But if we look inside, we realize that the Five Poisons are our own emotions. The other person, the one who we think “causes” us to have the negative emotion, may be unaware or unconcerned by our emotions.
AnnapurnaBlue’s team of professionals believes to have our lives function properly, we need to learn how to acknowledge and manage the Five Poisons and to replace the poisons with wisdom.
Modern science has shown how our mental and physical health improves drastically when we recognize, reduce, or eliminate our Five Poisons, promoting mental and physical healing and balance. We are calmer. We create a healthier lifestyle, strong relationships, and family bonds.
Deborah’s training with a Tibetan Monk for the past 25 years and her studies as a psychotherapist is a perfect combination to help students realize the damage The Five Poisons ultimately do to us, and how to counteract them and turn them into positive energy to improve our lives.
Yoga
Yoga is an ancient practice defined as the union of the finite to the infinite self. It can be considered the user’s manual to the human condition, bringing balance to the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual bodies. Our experienced Yoga instructor Susan will work intuitively with the class, using yoga tools like postures, breathing practices, sound, aromatherapy, and meditation practices to help bring balance to body, mind, and spirit.
Our Yoga session is perfect for all levels of Yoga practitioners. Susan will amaze you with her process and her ability to meet the needs of each student.
If you have never tried Yoga, or you are a medium level Yoga practitioner, you will be blown away with what you will learn from Susan.
You will leave your session wanting more.

Susan Nishizawa-Hampton
Yoga Instructor
My teaching style is a combination of my life experiences and trainings. I’ve been teaching yoga for over 20 years and iRest Yoga Nidra Meditation since 2020.
My journey began because of postpartum depression after the birth of my first child. Synchronicity lent a hand and I found a yoga studio 5 minutes from my house.
I fell in love with Yoga and what it has done for me.
A certified Hatha yoga teacher. Certified Integrated Shakti Reiki Master and Kundalini Yoga certification.
My Yin Yoga level 1&2. To deepen my yoga education, I completed a 300 hour yoga training in 2019.
Warrior at Ease Level 1 Yoga Training for military personnel suffering from PTSD, anxiety, and other traumas; the iRest Yoga Nidra Meditation level 1 & 2 training to calm the nervous system and learn to process challenging emotions and thoughts;
My goal, in my yoga class, is to create a space of safety, compassion, openness, and curiosity, while developing mindfulness in students.
